3.two.1 contact mentoring initiative

Have you ever tried to navigate your way out of a deep, dark forest?  How about out of a fog as thick as pea soup?  What if you had no compass?  No flashlight?  No tools to help you find your way?  Would you feel lost?  Alone?  Scared of what the next step might bring?

Well, if you have tried, then you know what it is like to attempt to navigate your way through the jungle known as the “teen years”.  In a world that is often dark, lonely, and scary, many teens are left to wander through these years without all of the guidance and tools they need to make it through.

Often times, teens, and their parents, need others to come along side them to provide some extra support to make it through this wilderness.  That is the purpose of a “Mentoring Program”.

“3:TWO:1 CONTACT!” is a brand new iSBC Student Ministry initiative that is now accepting applications for participation.

iSBC Student Ministries believe that each of our participating students will benefit from cultivating eternal relationships with a team of spiritually mature adult members of ISBC, along with the student’s parents/guardians, who are committed to helping them build strength, confidence, and an unshakable sense of “self worth”, all based on the development of a relationship with their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

The members of this team would include the following:

    1- “Senior” Adult

2 (TWO): Parents/Guardians (or parental representatives)

3 - Other Adults, to consist of:

iSBC Minister to Students:  Tiger Brooks

One (or more) of their Sunday Bible Study Teachers and/or

    One at-large ISBC adult member

For more information, please see Tiger Brooks.
